In this article we want to give you a series of useful information to organize your trip to the Canary Islands in total safety and informed about the current regulations regarding travel to the Canary Islands.

The European Union has activated a website and a mobile application which allows to know if it is possible to travel in the various member countries, what are the conditions required by each location and other data to answer the doubts of tourists.

Who can visit the Canary Islands?

Anyone coming from the European Union can visit the Canary Islands, from a country of the Schengen area or from a third country with which Spain has signed reciprocity agreements regarding the acceptance of travelers, namely: Australia, China, South Korea, New Zealand, Rwanda, Thailand, and Singapore.

Do I have to do anything before traveling to the Canary Islands?

All people who come on holiday to the Canary Islands will have to pass a health check. This check is different depending on the situation you are in: 

If you come from abroad (therefore not from another Spanish location), from an area with a high risk of contagion, you must:

  • Complete and electronically sign the health control module (FCS) before traveling to the Canary Islands.

  • Diagnosis test able to demonstrate ongoing COVID-19 infections with negative results carried out in the 72 hours prior to arrival in the Canary Islands. Exceptional situation for Traveling between the Islands during Easter 2021

  • Dates: between March 26 and April 9, both included
